Why the Redskins should resign Carlos Rogers not Nnamdi Asomugha.

This off season Carlos Rogers will become a free agent and a lot of people are saying the Redskins will either try to resign Rogers or pursue Nnamdi Asomugha.  Nnamdi Asomugha is a better player some say he's the best Corner in the NFL and I defiantly agree with them.  Nnamdi would be a great accessory to the team mostly because NFL quarterbacks just don't test him, they don't throw to his side at all.
But I don't believe Corner back is the biggest need the Redskins Defense has right now. The Redskins had the worst defense in the NFL this season and spending all there money on one star player won't fix their problems.
I think that their are more pressing needs at Safety, Linebacker, and Defensive Line and the Skins won't find all these players in the draft so they will have to be smart in Free agency.  I think they should re-sign players like Rocky McIntosh and Carlos Rogers so that they then have more money to sign maybe two or three more players in Free agency that can contribute right away instead of spending it all on one big name player.
If the Redskins want to be successful in the long run they need to stop building a team by signing big name players to ridiculous contracts in free agency.  They need to build through the draft and build there team around players like Laron Landry, Brian Orakpo, and Rocky McIntosh .
Now I'm not saying that they shouldn't sign good players because that has helped them just looked at players like Deangelo Hall, Santana Moss, and Clinton Portis. I'm saying that they shouldn' let their eyes light up when they see a player like Nnamdi on the market and just begin to throw money at him because that won't help the team at this point.
